CYKLONE is based in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany and is an innovation leader in free flow tidal power plants. With their partners in Northern Germany and Scandinavia, they offer 100% CO2-neutral turnkey solutions for ports and point-to-point logistics.

At the time of the video’s creation, the turbine’s inventor and his business partner were looking for possible funding. Since they had also thought about a crowdfunding solution, it made sense to make an explanatory video to make the dry theory of the technology palatable but also aware to laymen.
